Job summary
Alamo Cement Company in San Antonio, TX, is seeking an Electrical Supervisor to lead the frontline electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and installation activities across the plant’s kiln, mills, quarry, shipping, and packing areas.
You will supervise electricians and instrumentation technicians, enforce NFPA 70E and MSHA standards, manage LOTOTO procedures, coordinate emergency repairs, and drive safe, reliable operation through effective planning and strong communication.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; technical degree preferred.
- 5–7 years of mechanical maintenance experience, with 2–3 in supervision.
- Proficiency with CMMS and scheduling tools.
- Strong knowledge of reliability-centered maintenance (RCM) and RCA.
Responsibilities
- Lead frontline electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and installation.
- Supervise plant electricians and instrumentation technicians.
- Ensure NFPA 70E and MSHA safety compliance; oversee LOTOTO procedures.
- Coordinate emergency repairs and minimize electrical downtime.
- Translate strategic plans into daily tactical operations across kiln, mills, quarry, and packing plants.
