Job summary

Alamo Cement Company in San Antonio, Texas is seeking an Electric Technician to perform skilled electrical maintenance and repair across cement plant systems. The role offers opportunities to install, troubleshoot, and upgrade PLC-based equipment within a large industrial facility.

You will work with high voltage systems, follow safety protocols, and contribute to reliable plant operations while growing technical skills in a historic company within the Buzzi Unicem family.

Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent required.
Technical/trade school certificate preferred.
Licenses preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Inspect, maintain, repair electromechanical and solid state equipment.
Install electrical/electronic equipment and wiring per NEC.
Maintain electrical systems for facilities and equipment.
Perform high voltage switching and generator operation.
Work safely and follow lockout/tagout procedures.
Comply with codes, safety and environmental regulations.
Read blueprints and install PLC-based equipment.
