Job summary

Owens Corning in Columbia, SC is seeking an Industrial Electrician to maintain, troubleshoot and upgrade complex electrical and control systems on the production line. You will ensure safety, reliability and efficiency, supporting SAP maintenance workflows and plant reliability goals.

Ideal candidates have 4 years of industrial electrical experience, strong knowledge of motor control centers, PLCs, VFDs, and safety codes, with the ability to work off-hours as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent required.
• 4 years electrical/electronic/instrumentation experience in industrial/manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read technical diagrams and schematics.
• Knowledge of safety codes and motor control centers.

Responsibilities

• Use meters and PLCs to troubleshoot and maintain electrical/control systems.
• Reference engineering drawings and diagrams to perform duties.
• Execute SAP-generated work descriptions and orders.
• Maintain accurate SAP plant maintenance records and SAP/Fiori reports.
• Support Operations and Maintenance beyond electrical tasks.
• Available to work outside regular hours when needed.
