Job summary

Owens Corning in Denver, CO is seeking an Electrical & Controls Technician to maintain automation and controls across the plant and to train others in best practices. You will work on PLCs, HMIs, servos, and electrical systems to maximize uptime and minimize downtime.

The role requires a two-year electrical technology degree (or equivalent) and 3 years of industrial electrical maintenance experience, with a focus on safety and reliability. This is an on-site position at the Denver Roofing plant.

Qualifications

• Two-year associate degree in electrical technologies or equivalent preferred.
• 3 years relevant industrial electrical maintenance experience preferred.
• Knowledge of PLCs, electrical systems and process control is required.

Responsibilities

• Safety: follow plant safety processes and instill safety habits.
• Maintenance & Troubleshooting: perform preventive maintenance and diagnose electrical/controls problems.
• Work Supervisor & Training: train and guide others in electrical controls maintenance.
• Maintenance Project Management: plan repairs, manage spare parts, ensure drawings are up to date.
