Starting pay range is $24.00–$33.45 per hour, with first shift hours posted; candidates with 6 months of mechanic experience or an industrial maintenance program are preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of mechanic work experience or completion of an industrial maintenance training program.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Willingness to learn Tyson SAP software and use it to generate work orders and document daily activity.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and promote Tyson safety culture.
• Receive training as required.
• Perform various positions as required/assigned.
• Assist maintenance supervisor with personnel and equipment.
• Assign maintenance techs to equipment during process periods.
• Assist with preventative maintenance and handling breakdowns.
• Train maintenance techs on equipment.
• Use computer-based PM program to track equipment maintenance.
• Fill in for absenteeism or assisting in other areas of the plant.
