Job summary

Mondi Group in Pennsylvania is seeking a Plant Electrical Engineer to provide hands-on support for electrical, electronic, and control systems in our paper packaging plant. You will troubleshoot equipment, improve processes, and partner with Maintenance and Operations to reduce downtime and raise reliability.

Responsibilities include programming PLCs, HMIs, designing electrical schematics, supporting power distribution, and leading capital projects from scoping through commissioning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, or a related discipline required.
• 3+ years of electrical engineering, controls, or industrial automation experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Experience troubleshooting industrial machinery, electrical power distribution, motors, drives, and control systems.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical, electronic, instrumentation, and controls issues affecting production machinery and building systems.
• Program, modify, and troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, variable frequency drives, servo systems, sensors, and industrial control networks.
• Lead or support capital projects from scoping and specification through installation, commissioning, training, and closeout.
• Develop and maintain electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, equipment specifications, backups, and other technical documentation.
