Job summary

EnerSys is seeking a Plant 2 EHS Technician for A or C shift (6am-6pm) at our Springfield, MO site. You will assist the Sr. Safety Engineer to monitor safety, health, and regulatory compliance, supporting audits, trainings, and incident investigations.

The role requires at least two years in manufacturing safety or industrial hygiene, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to work on an irregular schedule; CAOHC certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in manufacturing, industrial safety, or industrial hygiene.
• High School Diploma or GED; 60 credits toward Industrial Safety degree desirable.
• Some coursework in Industrial Hygiene is preferable.
• English language skills required.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and conduct airborne lead monitoring and safety audits.
• Prepare, schedule and conduct safety training.
• Coordinate and conduct noise monitoring and audiometric tests.
• Maintain safety/health databases and records.
• Lead and participate in safety committees and investigations.
