Job summary

HarbisonWalker International seeks a Plant Environmental Health and Safety Administrator III to ensure compliance with safety, health and environmental regulations at our production facility. You will lead plant safety activities and collaborate with company/union safety teams to promote a safe work environment.

Requirements include 4–6 years in industrial safety, a BS degree in safety/environmental or related field, strong analytical and communication skills, and proficiency with MS Office.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of industrial/manufacturing safety experience.
• BS degree or equivalent in safety/environmental or related field.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn new software systems.
• Knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and workers’ compensation regulations and practices.

Responsibilities

• Ensure facility compliance with occupational safety, health, and environmental regulations and corporate policies.
• Conduct facility audits, inspections and employee engagements to verify regulatory compliance.
• Assist and advise on workers’ compensation/incident investigation issues.
• Support environmental data collection for reporting and permitting.
• Lead safety training activities and promote safety awareness.
• Coordinate/oversee industrial hygiene monitoring and medical surveillance programs.
• Prepare monthly EHS reports and enter data into tracking software.
