Job summary

HarbisonWalker International is seeking a Plant Environmental Health and Safety Administrator III to ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations while leading plant safety initiatives at the manufacturing facility.

The role focuses on audits, training, incidents, data reporting, and coordinating safety programs with the plant and union teams, requiring 4–6 years of experience and a BS in safety or a related field.

Qualifications

• Requires 4–6 years of industrial/manufacturing safety experience with knowledge of environmental regulations.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in safety/environmental or related field.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; ability to learn new software systems.
• Strong analytical, interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work in a team.
• Knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and workers’ compensation regulations and practices.

Responsibilities

• Ensure facility compliance with safety, health, environmental regulations and corporate policies.
• Conduct facility audits, inspections and employee engagements to verify compliance.
• Advise on workers’ compensation/incident investigation issues.
• Assist environmental engineers with data acquisition for reporting and permitting.
• Lead safety awareness and monthly safety training activities.
• Coordinate industrial hygiene monitoring and medical surveillance programs.
• Prepare monthly EHS reports and enter data into EHS tracking software.
