Job summary

PTC, a leading maker of welded and drawn steel tubing, seeks an on-site EHS Leader to manage Health, Safety, and Environmental matters at the plant. You will inspect facilities, identify hazards, and control conditions to prevent injuries and incidents while ensuring compliance with OSHA and environmental regulations.

This role drives the EHS program on the floor, develops training, tracks KPIs, coordinates with engineering and maintenance, and leads corrective actions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental science or related field required.
• Experience applying OSHA/EPA regulations and performing JHA/inspections.
• Strong ability to analyze data and prepare reports on EHS metrics.

Responsibilities

• Leads plant EHS program on the floor with a hands-on approach.
• Inspects facilities to identify hazards and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Develops emergency response plans and conducts drills.
• Trains hourly and supervisory staff on EHS topics and procedures.
• Tracks KPIs, analyzes data, and reports to management.
• Coordinates corrective actions with engineering, production, and maintenance.
