Job summary

CKS Packaging, Inc. is seeking a Safety Coordinator at its Haw River, NC plant to lead the environmental health and safety program, model a top-priority safety culture, and support site leadership in EHS initiatives.

The role requires coordinating training, incident investigations, regulatory compliance, and proactive safety improvements while working closely with plant management to reduce injuries and ensure a compliant operation.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent in Safety Management or related field preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish and/or CSP a plus.
• A minimum of 3 years of safety experience within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of government regulations in environmental health and safety.
• Proven ability to influence people without direct reporting lines.
• Ability to lead change in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deploy safety objectives to achieve zero injuries, guiding leaders with a hands-on approach.
• Manage environmental, safety programs, policies, and procedures at the plant level.
• Handle injury/illness and environmental case documentation and case management.
