Job summary

CKS Packaging, Inc., a leader and growing manufacturer of rigid plastic containers, seeks a Plant Environmental Health and Safety Coordinator in Orlando, FL. The role reports to the plant manager and supports EHS initiatives, modeling safety as a top priority.

Responsibilities include leading safety program deployment, incident management, regulatory compliance, training, and building a positive safety culture across all levels.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Safety Management or related field preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
• Certified Safety Professional (CSP) is a plus.
• Minimum 3 years of safety experience in manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of government health and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deploy safety programs and policies at the plant.
• Manage all injury/illness and environmental cases with documentation.
• Monitor KPIs and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Provide safety training and lead a safety committee.
• Support with project management and Return To Work programs.
• Lead near misses and investigations.
