Job summary

Cuisine Solutions in San Antonio, TX seeks a Plant Director to lead the facility's manufacturing operations and continuous improvement initiatives, ensuring safety, quality, and cost targets are met.

You will manage up to 30 salaried staff and up to 500 hourly workers, coordinate maintenance, inventory, and ERP-driven production planning, while building a strong team culture and aligning with the VP of Operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5–8 years of progressive leadership in manufacturing/plant operations (sous vide)
• Minimum 3+ years of production management experience
• Experience with sous vide industry audits (customer/OSHA/SQF)
• Strong knowledge of GMP and food safety standards, temperatures, time, metal detection, labeling

Responsibilities

• Lead facility to achieve operational excellence and business goals
• Manage a team of up to 30 salaried and up to 500 hourly employees
• Coordinate building/equipment upkeep and inventory management
• Drive safety, quality, productivity and cost improvement initiatives
• Ensure policies/procedures meet food safety, customer expectations, and productivity targets
• Oversee plant quality systems and supplier/customer satisfaction
• Plan production and schedule staffing to meet demand and minimize overtime
• Collaborate with VP of Operations on staffing and HR coordination
• Provide performance feedback and coaching to staff
• Respond to production issues and work with other departments on improvements
• Perform other duties as assigned by management
