Job summary

Lead daily management systems, apply TPM and Lean strategies, and use data to uncover opportunities and execute corrective actions for improved site performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Science or related field; master’s preferred.
• 7+ years of plant leadership experience across multiple sites.
• Experience in co-manufacturing relationships is a plus.

The Plant Director will lead manufacturing operations across multiple facilities, ensuring safe, efficient, and effective performance while consistently meeting business objectives. This leader will be responsible for building and developing high-performing teams, fostering a culture of accountability, and driving operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily manufacturing operations across multiple facilities, ensuring consistent production of high-quality products while maintaining rigorous food safety and quality standards.
• Drive safe, efficient manufacturing operations by developing and reinforcing policies, procedures, and best practices that support a world-class safety culture.
• Lead daily management systems focused on operational performance, including OEE, schedule attainment, productivity, and output targets.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement by implementing and sustaining manufacturing execution systems and structured daily operating cadences.
• Utilize data and performance metrics to identify operational losses, uncover improvement opportunities, and drive corrective actions.
• Partner with Continuous Improvement leadership to deploy TPM and Lean manufacturing strategies, optimizing processes, reducing waste, and improving overall site performance.
• Ensure operational procedures and standards are effectively implemented, consistently followed, and continuously improved.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (B.S.) from four-year college or university, preferably in Engineering or Science discipline, Supply Chain Management or Business. Master’s degree is preferred.
• 7+ years of direct plant (single or multiple site) leadership experience.
• Management of co-manufacturing customer relationships is a plus.
