Job summary

Cuisine Solutions Inc. is seeking a Senior Process Engineer to lead plant engineering, maintenance, reliability, and automation for a sous vide manufacturing environment. You will collaborate across Operations, QA, Food Safety, and Supply Chain to drive safe, compliant, and efficient production.

The role emphasizes capital project execution, equipment uptime, and continuous improvement while ensuring HACCP, GMP, and regulatory compliance across all processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering required; advanced degree preferred.
• 15+ years of progressive engineering, maintenance, reliability, or technical operations in food manufacturing or highly regulated environments.
• 7+ years leading teams in 24/7 manufacturing operations.
• Experience leading capital projects, plant expansions, equipment installations, automation upgrades, and commissioning.
• Strong knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance, CMMS, maintenance planning, RCM, RCA, and spare parts management.
• Experience with refrigeration, boilers, HVAC, PLCs, HMIs, SCADA, conveyors, and plant infrastructure.
• Strong financial acumen including budget prep, ROI analysis, vendor mgmt, and cost control.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute plant engineering strategy to improve safety, quality, throughput, and uptime.
• Assist with capital planning, budgeting, vendor selection, and post-project validation.
• Provide technical leadership for sous vide processing systems and plant utilities.
• Partner with QA and Food Safety to ensure HACCP, GMP, GFSI/SQF or BRC and USDA/FDA compliance.
• Drive continuous improvement using RCA, Lean, Six Sigma, standard work, and data-driven problem solving.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, electrical safety, ammonia/refrigeration safety, and local codes.
• Lead engineering, maintenance, reliability, facilities, and automation functions for the plant.
