Job summary

Greven Executive Search is retained by a fast growing food company to find a talented Plant Director in New Jersey. The successful candidate will lead all manufacturing operations, drive safety, quality, productivity and continuous improvement on the production floor.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years of experience in food manufacturing operations, prior Plant Manager or Plant Director experience, and a proven track record of operational excellence, Lean, Six Sigma, and P&L management.

Qualifications

• Servant leadership style with a coaching and mentoring approach.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience leading operations in food manufacturing.
• Previous Plant Manager or Plant Director experience with responsibility for large-scale manufacturing operations.
• Proven track record of operational excellence, productivity improvement, automation initiatives, and cost optimization programs.
• Proven experience leading organizational change and developing high-performance cultures.
• Exposure to Lean Manufacturing, TPM, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Strong analytical, financial, and business acumen with experience managing plant budgets and P&L performance.

The Plant Director will be an integral member of the executive leadership team and will be responsible for leading all aspects of manufacturing operations. This leader will drive operational excellence by maintaining a strong presence on the production floor, engaging employees at all levels, and fostering a culture focused on safety, quality, productivity, and continuous improvement.

Ideal candidates will have the following:
