Caldwell Energy in Louisville, KY is seeking a Design Drafter to join our growing fabrication team. The role focuses on preparing plant and field detailed drawing packages and documentation for all phases of fabrication and construction, including tanks, foundations, components and accessories.

You will work with the Engineering Manager to establish project requirements, prepare shipping lists and material summaries, assist Sales with bid sketches and quantity estimates, and support shop

Qualifications

• Associates degree or equivalent drafting experience required.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and Inventor is required.
• Strong reading and interpretation of technical drawings and specs.
• Experience detailing mechanical systems is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Collaborate with Engineering Manager to define project requirements.
• Prepare shipping lists and material summaries.
• Support Sales by drafting bid sketches and quantity estimates.
• Assist shop management with fabrication assembly support.
• Maintain up-to-date standard background drawings.
