Job summary

Amcor Flexibles, LLC is seeking a dedicated cleaner for our Evansville, IN facility. The role focuses on maintaining a clean, safe production environment by cleaning floors, machines, and overhead spaces and by supporting housekeeping in the blending room and storage areas.

The successful candidate will follow established safety and cGMP policies, assist with daily cleaning tasks, and help ensure a tidy, efficient manufacturing floor. High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

  • Mop floors around molding machines daily and monitor oil leaks.
  • Clean injection molding and AMO machines, including clamps and ends.
  • Dust and remove debris in production areas and blending room.
  • General housekeeping of production floor and aisles.
  • Develop and perform overhead cleaning schedule for production areas.
  • Clean warehouse and storage areas for raw materials and products.
  • Arrange boxes, material, and equipment neatly.
  • Clean lint, dust, oil, and grease from machines, pipes, and conveyors.

Job Description
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Mopping oil on floor around each molding machine daily; monitor/track severity of oil leak conditions on each machine
  • Detailed cleaning of injection Molding and AMO machines, includes clamp and injection ends of machines
  • Dust control and removal in the production area and blending room
  • General housekeeping of production floor and aisles
  • Develop schedule and perform overhead cleaning of production area
  • Cleaning of warehouse and storage areas for all raw material and product
  • Arrange boxes, material, handtrucks, or other industrial equipment in a neat orderly manner
  • Clean lint, dust, oil, and grease from machines, overhead pipes, and conveyors
  • Clean screens and filters
  • Clean floors and apply floor drier
  • Pick up reusable scrap for salvage and store in containers
  • Transport trash and waste to disposal area
  • Replace light bulbs around work stations
  • Operate industrial truck to transport materials within plant
  • Follows applicable Food Safety and cGMP policies.
  • All other duties as assigned
