Job summary

Amcor is seeking a manufacturing associate at our North Carolina facility. You will operate lining and finishing machines, perform quality checks, and maintain clean, organized work areas to support GMP and ISO standards.

The role requires strict adherence to safety procedures and ongoing participation in 5S initiatives, with opportunities to contribute to continuous improvements across packaging production.

Responsibilities

  • Run all Lining and finishing machines following SOPs, Work Instructions (WI) and Forms.
  • Complete all daily paperwork as required per procedures and GMP requirements.
  • Perform quality checks to ensure that components meet all specifications.
  • Ensure all gaylords have the proper labels and inspection forms.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
  • Perform all activities safely and conduct any required safety checks on equipment.
  • Promote plant goals such as Safety/Housekeeping, Quality, GMP, ISO and 5S.

Physical Requirements/Work Environment

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 45 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

The noise level in the work environment is usually loud and company provided hearing protection is required on the shop floor at all times.

Company approved safety glasses are also required on the shop floor at all times.

Company provided bump cap is required on the shop floor.

Company approved steel toe/safety shoes are required on the shop floor.
