Job summary

Amcor in Evansville, IN is seeking a dependable Supply Operator to feed materials to production lines and manage WIP and finished goods in the warehouse. You will scan items, locate inventory, and create production labels while supporting the automation area and maintaining a safe, organized workplace.

The role emphasizes adherence to safety and quality standards, teamwork, and efficient material handling in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Forklift experience is preferred.
  • Ability to multitask in a high paced environment.
  • Basic computer skills are required.

Responsibilities

  • Supply materials to machines and staging areas.
  • Scan and locate WIP and finished goods in the warehouse.
  • Provide supplies to automation area and create production labels.
  • Operate machines to cover breaks and assist with line clearances.
  • Follow safety, cGMP, and housekeeping standards.

Supply operators/machines with materials needed to run their orders. Transport and scan WIP and finished product into the warehouse location.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Maintain a safe working environment and quality standards
  • Supply color, liner, WIP, etc to staging area
  • Scan and locate WIP and finished goods into the warehouse
  • Provide supplies to the automation area
  • Operate machines as needed to give breaks
  • Create production labels
  • Scan out materials
  • Complete line clearances
  • Practice good housekeeping
  • Follow applicable Food Safety and cGMP policies
  • All other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Fork truck experience (preferred)
  • Ability to multitask in a high paced environment
  • Ability to develop a routine and adapt to changing business needs
  • Basic computer skills
