Job summary

Autoneum in the United States seeks an experienced financial planning and cost accounting professional to improve profitability through SAP-based costing and ERP reporting. Qualifications

Associate or bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent from an accredited college or technical school preferred.
Three or more years of financial planning experience.
Three or more years of standard cost accounting experience.
Three or more years of management reporting experience.
Experience in manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities

Cost accounting module in SAP. This includes staging materials (new part setup/updates) and working with cross functional teams to ensure accurate material inventory records and financial valuations.
Develop and maintain a cost analysis system using standard costing, reporting variances monthly.
Calculate overhead rates, labor rates, and machine rates to cost at a product level.
Support product profitability reporting with plant costing information and advisement.
Support monthly close accounting (SAP) and reporting (HFM) processes, WD1 through WD3.
Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial analysis.
Monitor and report selected variance accounts, determine root cause, and collaborate with Plant Management to take corrective actions.
Analyze plant financial results and explain production, labor, material, and overhead variances compared to budget and forecast.
Provide support to ensure the accuracy of cost center allocations.
Validate and track savings initiatives and productivity projects.
Support monthly forecast process (HFM).
Support preparation of annual budgets (HFM) by establishing schedules, collecting, analyzing, and consolidating financial data, and recommending plans.
