The role partners with operations and leadership to provide accurate insights, improve processes, and strengthen internal controls in a growing environment.

The position is contract-to-hire, onsite at our Fort Wayne facility, offering competitive hourly pay and benefits.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Solid foundation in general accounting, reconciliations, financial reporting, and journal entries.
• Experience with plant/manufacturing cost accounting and variance analysis.
• Familiarity with inventory accounting and BOM concepts.
• Ability to support month-end close and process improvements.

Aufgaben

• Perform day-to-day accounting and financial activities for a plant-based manufacturing operation.
• Prepare accurate financial reports and perform detailed account reconciliations.
• Support month-end accounting activities, including journal entries and closing processes.
• Assist with manufacturing cost analysis and standard cost accounting activities where applicable.
• Support inventory accounting, including tracking, valuation, and related processes.
• Assist with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and invoicing activities.
• Analyze financial information to identify discrepancies, trends, and opportunities for improvement.
• Develop, refine, and improve accounting processes, reporting tools, and documentation.
• Partner with operations and leadership to provide financial insight and support business decisions.
• Support ongoing enhancements to accounting procedures and internal controls.
• Work directly with plant and business leadership to align financial reporting with operational performance.
• Contribute to building accounting processes and systems from the ground up in a growing manufacturing environment.
• Take ownership of assigned responsibilities and drive tasks to completion in a self-directed manner.
• Support the transition into broader accounting leadership responsibilities as the organization expands.
