Job summary

Tremco CPG Mfg. Corp. in Corsicana, TX seeks a Plant Accountant to deliver comprehensive financial, cost accounting, and analytical support for the Corsicana plant. You will partner with the Plant Controller to provide accurate reporting, support decision-making, and drive cost efficiency on-site.

Responsibilities include forecasting, variance analysis, inventory and cost accounting, month-end close, and audit support. CPA/CMA preferred; 5+ years in related roles encouraged.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in commercial construction.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in Project Management.
• Four to seven years of relevant experience.
• SAP Experience primarily in GL, Costing, Procurement and Inventory in a manufacturing environment.
• CPA or CMA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Track and review all manufacturing spending; propose reclassifications or accruals.
• Perform financial and manufacturing analysis including variance analysis.
• Provide COGS forecasting including standard cost, PPV, variances.
• Prepare plant reports with variance explanations.
• Month-end close and journal entries including accruals.
• Support audits and ensure GAAP and SOX compliance.
