Job summary

Amrize North America Inc. is seeking a Plant Controls Engineer to work alongside the Plant Engineer to develop and execute capital, expense, and maintenance projects in a safe, profitable, timely, and efficient manner within our asphalt products manufacturing operations.

You will apply advanced controls knowledge to evaluate and implement process changes, calibrate equipment, monitor performance, and support the conversion of older processes to large‑scale operations, all while driving cost

Qualifications

• Field of Study: Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering.
• 5–7 years of experience in a continuous manufacturing plant.
• Experience with controls and their impact on equipment.
• Experience with design software.
• Strong understanding of process control systems.
• Adherence to safety protocols and PPE requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develops, designs, cost estimates and prepares business cases for capital and expense projects.
• Evaluate, implement, and monitor processes and operating systems for the manufacture of asphalt products.
• Equipment calibration and maintenance monitoring.
• Support the conversion of older-scale processes into commercially viable large-scale operations.
• Monitor and improve the efficiency, output, and safety of manufacturing processes through observations and data interpretation.
• Promote a culture of safety and adhere to health, safety, and environmental policies.
