Job summary

Channel Personnel Services seeks a mid- to senior-level industrial controls engineer in Detroit to design and implement automated control systems with both automatic and manual modes, and to develop HMIs for operator control and monitoring.

You will establish and maintain a Factory Information System for real-time data access, integrate standalone components into centralized controls, troubleshoot PLCs, drives, instrumentation, and network infrastructure, and support commissioning of new

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field.
• 3+ years in industrial controls and automation.
• Experience with AB ControlLogix PLCs, PowerFlex drives, and HMI platforms (PanelView, Wonderware, Ignition).
• Experience with SCADA, networking, and Windows/VMware infrastructure.
• CMMS experience.

• Experience with SCADA systems, networking, and Windows/VMware infrastructure.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours based on project and support needs.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
