Job summary

Plastipak Packaging, Inc. is seeking a Plant Controller for their Medina, Ohio location.

In this role, you will be the financial business partner, ensuring the operation’s financial health, as well as leading key accounting functions including budgeting, forecasting, and compliance with accounting policies. You will work closely with Plant Leadership on actionable plans to achieve financial targets, oversee physical inventory processes, and ensure accurate reporting of financial impacts to the

Qualifications

• 2+ years of accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing.
• Working knowledge of costings, AP/AR, forecasting and budgeting.
• Experience with variance analysis and balance sheet reconciliation.

Responsibilities

• Lead the budgeting, forecasting, planning, costing, and reporting cycles.
• Ensure compliance with Company’s accounting policies and procedures.
• Control the monthly physical inventory and valuation process.
• Identify and report negative impacts to the P&L with recommendations.
• Serve as the liaison between the site and Corporate Accounting.
