Job summary

Joseph Michaels International seeks an experienced Plant Controller to lead the plant's financial operations, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and inventory controls. You will guide the accounting team, partner with operations leadership, and drive profitability and financial discipline across a complex manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities include close processes, capital planning support, cost accounting, and internal controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or related field required.
• 7–10 years of Controller/Plant Controller experience in manufacturing.
• Financial leadership in a complex manufacturing operation required.
• Strong Excel and ERP/accounting systems proficiency.
• Experience partnering with manufacturing operations to improve performance.

Responsibilities

• Lead all financial operations for the plant with accurate reporting.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and analyses.
• Develop operating budget, business plan, and forecasts.
• Collaborate with Plant Leadership to guide financial decisions.
• Analyze costs, performance, and opportunities for profitability.
• Oversee standard costing, product costing, and inventory valuation.
• Manage month-end and year-end close and internal controls.
• Develop and mentor the Accounting team.
