Job summary

Food Management Search, Inc. seeks an experienced Plant Controller to join the manufacturing leadership team. You will oversee financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, costing, and inventory controls, partnering with operations to improve profitability.

This role leads the Accounting team, drives internal controls, prepares statements, and supports capital planning. You will mentor staff, ensure GAAP compliance, and help shape strategic decisions that impact plant performance and cash flow.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
• 7-10 years of Controller or Plant Controller experience in manufacturing.
• Financial leadership experience in a complex manufacturing operation required.
• Strong background in manufacturing accounting, costing, budgeting and forecasting.
• Experience partnering with manufacturing operations to improve financial and operational performance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee plant financial operations including reporting, budgeting, forecasting, costing, and inventory controls.
• Lead and develop the Accounting team while partnering with plant leadership.
• Provide financial guidance to drive profitability and operational excellence.
• Manage month-end and year-end closes ensuring GAAP compliance.
• Optimize plant cash flow and monitor working capital; support capital projects.
