Job summary

Owens Corning's Fort Smith facility is seeking a Plant Controller to provide financial leadership for the site and to uphold a strong internal control environment aligned with SOX and corporate policies.

You will drive budgeting, monthly close, forecasting, and variance analysis, lead cross‑functional teams, and develop talent while safeguarding assets. This role is a key feeder for broader manufacturing leadership and corporate opportunities within a growth‑oriented organization.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or relevant discipline.
  • 5-7+ years of manufacturing finance experience.
  • Eligible for work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.
  • MBA, CMA, CPA preferred.
  • Experience working in a start-up operation is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Participates in the development of operational objectives for the plant that are aligned to Corporate and Division strategic objectives.
  • Leads proactive development of contingency plans, productivity improvement and corrective actions to ensure optimal facility financial results and shareholder value.
  • Leads financial planning, budgeting and forecasting processes for Fort Smith.
  • Prepares and delivers the plant financial forecasts and projections.
  • Leads the plant’s monthly closing process in conjunction with the Accounting team.
  • Communicates results effectively to management and non-financial personnel.
  • Provides in-depth analysis on variances to plan and forecast.
