Job summary

London Approach seeks an experienced Plant Controller to guide plant-level financial operations in a Tennessee manufacturing environment. You will drive cost management initiatives, oversee month-end close, and partner with operations leadership to enhance financial performance.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in manufacturing accounting, cost analysis, and reporting, with senior roles in plant accounting or cost management encouraged to apply. CPA/CMA preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting or finance experience.
• Manufacturing accounting experience, including cost accounting and inventory exposure.
• CPA or CMA highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee financial reporting, month-end close, and general accounting activities.
• Analyze manufacturing costs, including materials, labor, overhead, and production variances.
• Manage inventory accounting, reconciliations, and cost controls.
• Prepare budgets, forecasts, and financial performance reports.
• Partner with operations leadership to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP, internal controls, and accounting policies.
• Support financial process improvements and reporting enhancements.
• Collaborate with finance leadership on strategic initiatives.
• Assist with audits, capital expenditure analysis, and inventory management.
