Job summary

Trex is seeking a Plant Controller to lead financial analysis, planning, and reporting for the manufacturing site. You will partner with operations, drive cost controls, and guide decisions with robust KPI analysis and variance reporting.

Ideal candidates have a 3+ year background in plant finance, a bachelor’s degree in a related field, and experience with JD Edwards/OneStream; base compensation reflects the stated salary range with bonus opportunities.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business, or marketing.
3+ years as plant controller/plant finance manager.
Experience in manufacturing and JD Edwards/OneStream preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead and foster our “people first” culture.
Serve as a business partner with operations and coach on controls, policies, and financial metrics.
Partner with plant manager to achieve business objectives and conduct ad-hoc analyses.
Advise plant management on financial implications of operating strategies and decisions.
Work with operations to plan and analyze repairs and maintenance spending with a focus on controls and cost optimization.
Initiate and manage financial analysis focused on profit improvement and financial reporting integrity.
Support IT teams to implement new systems and processes.
Ensure compliance with US GAAP and SOX.
Evaluate plant activity performance and finalize financial statements.
Design and maintain standard costs for all plant products.
