Job summary

ProAmpac in the United States seeks an experienced Plant Controller to lead the accounting function at one of its largest manufacturing sites ($100M+ revenue). You will partner with plant leadership to drive financial excellence, oversee close processes, GL, cost accounting, budgeting, and key analyses.

This role requires a Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance and a minimum of 10 years in financial management within manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Minimum 10 years of financial management experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Proven leadership and management capabilities.
• Experience collaborating with plant leadership to drive financial excellence.
• Experience coordinating audits and managing the general ledger.
• Strong analytical and communication skills; ability to present financial data clearly.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Visio, Teams and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Develop financial policies and procedures with significant site impact.
• Analyze financial data and present accurate site and consolidated statements monthly, quarterly, and yearly.
• Partner with site leadership to drive financial excellence and provide accounting support at all levels.
• Align department strategy with organizational goals.
• Lead internal communications around financial goals across the site.
• Assist plant manager in managing inventory working capital and drive improvements.
• Oversee monthly/quarterly consolidated detail and ad hoc reports to aid decision making.
• Coordinate all audit activities.
• Other duties as assigned.
