Job summary

Fermented Food Holdings, Inc. seeks a Plant Controller for our Bear Creek, WI facility.

This leadership role reports to the CFO and oversees plant accounting, cost management, and forecasting, acting as a business partner to operations and supporting consolidated financial reporting. The role requires owning the plant budget/forecast, delivering variance analyses, building cost and capacity models, and driving improvements with operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 6+ years of experience in finance and accounting, including 3+ years in manufacturing finance.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• P&L experience and knowledge of key financial concepts.
• Experience with financial modeling, forecasting, and analytics.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Own the plant's annual operating budget and monthly rolling forecast.
• Deliver monthly variance analyses with drivers and root cause.
• Build financial models for capacity, staffing, make-vs-buy, capex and pricing.
• Partner with plant/operations leadership to improve financial/operational performance.
• Execute plant month-end and year-end close, including accruals and reconciliations.
• Contribute to consolidated company reporting with the CFO and FP&A.
