Job summary

Fermented Food Holdings (FFH) is seeking a Plant Controller for our Bear Creek, WI facility to lead plant accounting, cost management, and forecasting. Reporting to the CFO, this role partners with operations to drive performance and accuracy in financial reporting.

You will own the plant budget, deliver monthly variance analyses, and build models for capacity, staffing, make-vs-buy, capex, and pricing to identify cost savings and improve operations. This is an on-site role at Bear Creek.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 6+ years in finance and accounting; 3+ years in manufacturing finance.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• P&L experience and knowledge of financial concepts.
• Experience with financial modeling and forecasting.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Lead plant accounting, cost management, and forecasting for the Bear Creek facility.
• Own the plant's annual operating budget and rolling monthly forecast.
• Deliver monthly variance analysis with drivers and root causes.
• Develop models for capacity, staffing, make-vs-buy, capex, and pricing, tracking cost savings.
• Partner with plant/operations leadership to improve financial and operational performance.
• Execute month-end and year-end close, including accruals and journal entries.
• Support consolidated company reporting with CFO and FP&A teams.
• Collaborate with corporate accounting on fixed assets and project tracking.
