Job summary

CTI Foods seeks a Plant Controller to lead financial operations at the plant, ensuring accurate reporting and strong financial leadership. You will drive month-end close, support operational reporting, and collaborate with management to improve plant profitability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• Five+ years of accounting experience.
• Understand complex accounting processes with strong auditing ability.
• Experience in inventory, project cost accounting, and AP support.
• Advanced Excel and MS Office proficiency; various software tools.
• ERP experience, Macola preferred.
• Manufacturing experience preferred; GAAP knowledge.
• Strong written and verbal communication; concise reporting.
• Analytical, detail oriented, and process driven.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly plant close and analyze variances with action plans.
• Support weekly/monthly operational reporting with plant leadership.
• Monthly balance sheet reconciliations with substantiation.
• Maintain internal controls aligned with policy and risk mitigation.
• Monitor capital expenditures per policy and budgets.
• Collaborate with AP/AR and billing on issues.
• Assist with annual budget and forecast processes.
• Support tax reporting/compliance activities.
• Coordinate information for external auditors.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements.
