Job summary

Grecian Delight | Kronos Foods is seeking a Plant Controller at our Glendale Heights facility to partner with Operations leadership to drive profitability and operating efficiency.

You will forecast monthly results, lead budgeting and variance analysis, design KPI dashboards, and present financial results to Corporate Leadership. Oversee internal controls, inventory cycle counting, audits, and ROI analyses for capital projects. BA in accounting and 5 years plant finance required.

Qualifications

• BA / BS in Accounting or related field.
• 5 years’ experience in a plant financial position.
• Proven experience in driving process improvement.
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
• Excellent project management abilities, capable of prioritizing and handling multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Forecast manufacturing facility financial results monthly.
• Lead annual budgeting process and variance analysis.
• Design and implement KPI dashboards; perform monthly variance analysis.
• Prepare and lead monthly presentations of financial results to Corporate Leadership.
• Prepare ROI analyses for material capital spending requests.
• Design and implement internal controls relating to inventory and operations; oversee cycle counting.
• Identify opportunities with plant leadership to improve growth, efficiency and profitability.
• Interpret departmental P&Ls and support cross-functional decisions.
• Lead audits at the site level and manage end-of-year inventory activities.
• Track tax-deductible plant activities (R&D, trials).
• Interpret contracts to reduce exposure and risk.
