Job summary

CSP is a leading Tier One supplier in the transportation sector, seeking a senior finance professional to drive cost accounting, budgeting, and financial reporting for a manufacturing site in the United States. You will oversee key finance functions, partner with plant leadership, and develop the finance team to deliver strategic insights and continuous improvement.

Ideal candidates will have 7–10 years in finance/accounting, 3–5 years in manufacturing, and strong ERP/Excel skills.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of progressive experience in finance or accounting.
• 3–5 years in a manufacturing environment.
• Deep understanding of cost accounting, inventory management systems, and operational finance in manufacturing context.

Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate, complete, and timely financial reporting by implementing internal controls and audits.
• Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, invoicing, cash disbursements, and fixed asset management.
• Drive integrity of cost accounting including material costing, labor analysis, overhead absorption, and variance reporting.
• Prepare monthly financial statements and performance reports for site leadership and corporate stakeholders.
• Collaborate with plant leadership to develop budgets, forecasts, and long-range financial plans.
• Provide actionable financial insights to support strategic initiatives and capital investments.
• Monitor and evaluate inventory accuracy, valuation, and standard cost system functionality.
• Maintain relationships with external auditors, banks, insurers, and other financial institutions.
• Partner with HR and operations to support benefit planning and labor cost analysis.
• Champion financial discipline and continuous improvement across departments.
• Lead and develop the site finance team.
