Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• 3–6 years of accounting experience, manufacturing cost accounting preferred.
• ERP systems proficiency (Epicor, NetSuite, SAP Business One) and advanced Excel skills.
• Strong communication skills to explain financial concepts to non-financial staff.

Responsibilities

• Cost Accounting & Variances: maintain standard cost, analyze variances, partner with production managers.
• Inventory Valuations: oversee cycle counts, raw material and WIP valuations, obsolescence tracking.
• Month-End Close: prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and plant P&L aligned with corporate close.
• Operational Budgeting: assist in annual plant budget, track CapEx, monitor spend vs forecasts.
• Process Improvement: identify labor inefficiencies and margin leaks on the shop floor.
