Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 10+ years of progressive Accounting or Finance experience.
• Manufacturing or automotive industry experience strongly preferred.
• 5+ years of financial leadership/team management experience.
• Strong experience with manufacturing cost accounting.
• Expertise in budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, variance analysis, and financial reporting.
• Experience with inventory accounting and plant operations.
• Knowledge of internal controls, SOX, and audit requirements.
• Experience with ERP systems and financial planning tools.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Fluent in English.
• Ability to work on-site in Tremonton 4 days per week.

Responsibilities

• Lead plant financial activities, including budgeting, forecasting, month-end close, and financial reporting
• Ensure accurate financial statements and compliance with accounting standards and company policies
• Partner with Plant Leadership and Division Finance on business objectives and strategic planning
• Analyze plant financial and operational performance and provide actionable recommendations
• Monitor costs, variances, KPIs, and profitability
• Identify and drive cost-saving and operational efficiency initiatives
• Oversee inventory accounting, cycle counts, physical inventory, and inventory optimization
• Partner with Production, Engineering, Supply Chain, and other departments to align financial and operational goals
• Evaluate and support capital expenditure projects and business cases
• Maintain strong internal controls and ensure SOX compliance
• Coordinate and support internal and external audits
• Drive financial process improvement, standardization, and best practices
• Lead, coach, and develop the plant finance team
• Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
