Job summary

Owens Corning is seeking a Plant Controller for the Atlanta facility. The role focuses on financial planning, forecasting, and internal controls within a manufacturing environment.

You will collaborate across functions, lead a small team, and support plant productivity initiatives. The successful candidate will have a finance or accounting degree, ERP experience, and a preference for MBA/CMA/CPA credentials.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting required or similar; MBA/CMA/CPA preferred.
• Experience with ERP systems.
• Ability to lead in a manufacturing setting and operate in a matrixed organization.

Responsibilities

• Uphold safety standards and ensure compliance and internal controls.
• Partner with Plant Leader to guide operations planning and plant processes.
• Conduct financial planning, forecasting, reporting and analysis to drive financial transparency and informed decisions.
• Actively lead within a cross-functional leadership team to support business goals.
• Drive plant productivity and performance improvements.
• Lead a team of 3 direct reports in purchasing, procurement, raw materials, and shipping/transportation.

The Atlanta Plant is a part of the OC Roofing Business Segment.

• The Plant began operations as part of Owens Corning Roofing equipment and supplies manufacturing network in 2006.
• The Plant operates 24/7 with over 120 hourly and salaried positions.
• The facility, along with sister facilities in Jacksonville and Savannah, manufactures almost all shingles sold by OC in the Southeast region of the United States.
