Job summary

Owens Corning's Atlanta Plant is seeking a skilled Plant Controller to lead financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and governance in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

You will partner with the Plant Leader to drive operations, productivity, and strong internal controls while guiding a small team of professionals and collaborating across functions to support sustainable growth for the Roofing, Insulation, Doors, and Composites segments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting; MBA/CPA preferred
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a matrixed organization
• Experience operating within a manufacturing setting
• ERP experience
• Strong leadership in a manufacturing finance context

Responsibilities

• Uphold safety standards and ensure compliance and internal controls
• Partner with Plant Leader to drive operations planning and plant processes
• Conduct financial planning, forecasting, reporting and analysis to drive transparency
• Lead and contribute in a cross-functional leadership team
• Drive plant productivity and cost controls
• Manage a team of 3 direct reports in purchasing, buying, raw materials, and shipping/transportation
• Support ERP-based financial systems and reporting in daily operations

About Atlanta Roofing

The Atlanta Plant is a part of the OC Roofing Business Segment.

• The Plant began operations as part of Owens Corning Roofing equipment and supplies manufacturing network in 2006.
• The Plant operates 24/7 with over 120 hourly and salaried positions.
• The facility, along with sister facilities in Jacksonville and Savannah, manufactures almost all shingles sold by OC in the Southeast region of the United States.

What You Will Be Responsible For

As the Atlanta Plant Controller, you will be primarily responsible for:

• Living the safety stance while adhering to all safety standards and responsibilities.
• Ensuring the proper existence of and adherence to compliance and internal controls.
• Partnering with Plant Leader to lead operations planning and plant processes.
• Conducting financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and analysis to create financial transparency and encourage effective decision-making.
• Actively leading and contributing within a cross-functional leadership team.
• Driving plant productivity.
• Leading a team of 3 direct reports in purchasing, buying, raw materials, and shipping/transportation.
