Job summary

Staffworks, Inc. seeks a hands-on Plant Controller to lead the financial management of a manufacturing and distribution facility in Utica, NY. This onsite role partners with Plant Director and site leadership to drive profitability, efficiency, and strategic decision-making.

You will manage budgeting, forecasting, month-end close, and financial reporting while analyzing costs and overseeing standard costing and controls to support ROI and capital projects.

Qualifications

• Manufacturing finance experience in cost accounting, plant controlling, or FP&A.
• Strong knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, inventory, and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead budgeting, forecasting, month-end close, and financial reporting.
• Analyze manufacturing costs including labor, overhead, inventory, scrap, and productivity.
• Oversee standard costing, inventory valuation, and financial controls.
