Job summary

Scientific Search in Goshen, IN is seeking a hands-on Controller to own the financial engine behind a growing manufacturing operation. You will turn plant-level financial data into actionable insights while leading the accounting function and partnering with operational leadership.

Qualifications

• Manufacturing accounting and standard-costing expertise.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Experience leading an accounting/finance team.
• Strong inventory and manufacturing-variance knowledge.
• ERP implementation or upgrade experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly close and financial statement preparation
• Own AP, AR, GL, fixed assets, inventory costing and reporting
• Lead standard costing and analyze material, labor, overhead and scrap variances
• Partner with operations to improve performance and identify savings
• Strengthen internal controls and accounting policies
• Manage audits and support forecasting and capital projects
• Help lead ERP upgrades or implementations
