Business Controller/Finance Manager:

Metric Search is partnered with a leading manufacturer of industrial equipment on a new Financial Controller opportunity. The company produces high-end products used across various industries including food & beverage, pulp & paper, oil & gas, and water/wastewater. They are a growing organization offering realistic promotion opportunities in the coming years.

This position requires someone to effectively manage the manufacturing business’s finances, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations. We are looking for an analytical individual who can interpret financial data and make informed suggestions on cost effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the manufacturing business’ financial statements
• Analyze financial statements and recommend potential cost improvements
• Develop and lead cost improvement projects
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
• Manage a team of 2 direct reports

Key Requirements:

• 5 years of experience in FP&A, Costing, or Accounting
• 2 years of experience working in a manufacturing environment
• Relocate to Northern California
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or equivalent
• Experience with SAP, Oracle, PeopleSoft, or other ERP systems
• Exceptional Microsoft Excel skills
• CPA/CMA certification is preferred but not required
• Understanding of LEAN concepts is preferred
