Position Summary

This position manages and directs all elements of the operation’s financial and accounting functions. It maintains the integrity of all budgeting and financial activities and provides timely and effective service to internal and external customers, supporting the accomplishment of performance and growth goals.

Position Responsibilities Include, but Are Not Limited To:

1. Ensures financial objectives are understood and implemented throughout the plant.
2. Advises management on current financial statement trends, status of results against budget, and unusual or unexpected items affecting financial results.
3. Maintains open communication with all management members to ensure accuracy of financial statement interpretation.
4. Performs hands-on monthly closing to generate financial statements and reports.
5. Responsible for forecasting sales, net operating profit, and cash flow.
6. Prepares annual budget submission.
7. Leads accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cost estimating activities.
8. Maintains and documents internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure accurate reporting.
9. Supports management and employees with information and advice to maximize profits and efficiency.
10. Coordinates and prepares capital expenditure requests.
11. Maintains charts and graphs tracking expenses, performance, and profitability trends.
12. Works with external and internal auditors.
13. Performs other responsibilities as assigned.
