A well established and successful electronics manufacturer with a U.S. presence in Chicagoland is hiring an Interim Plant Controller Consultant located in Elgin, IL, to serve as a hands-on leader and team player to the accounting team. The Interim Plant Controller Consultant will provide cost accounting leadership and execution, oversee day-to-day accounting functions and perform inventory analysis monthly and much more. PLANT CONTROLLER CONSULTANT Responsibilities:

• Provide hands-on management of month-end close duties and produce accurate financial results.
• Manage AP, AR, inventory, and auditing as well as provide requested business analysis.
• Prepare financial statements as well as routine and ad-hoc financial requests
• Prepare all facets of the annual operating plan, subsequent financial forecasts and partner with key stakeholders to drive accountability and transparency with actuals to budget results.
• Monitor, review and adjust costing standards within SAP.
• Partner with plant operations to investigate variances and identify opportunities to reduce cost.
• Provide a deep knowledge of standard costing coupled with a strong mindset of developing results-oriented decision-making processes. Full understanding of the variance drivers, and resolve issues.

PLANT CONTROLLER CONSULTANT Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• 5+ years of experience as a Proven Plant Controller required.
• SAP & Blackline experience required.
• CPA preferred
• Demonstrated leadership and interpersonal skills required
• Advanced MS Excel skills required
• Excellent communication skills – written, verbal, and presentation skills required
• Strong knowledge of accounting, financial analysis and P&L
• Highly motivated and dedicated individual
• Strong analytical and multi-tasking skills necessary to manage multiple deadlines
