Job summary

Olin is seeking an Improvement Engineer in Freeport, TX to drive plant-wide continuous improvement. Lead data-driven projects, identify losses, and implement Lean Six Sigma initiatives to boost safety, quality, productivity, and cost efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering; Chemical or Mechanical preferred.
• 3+ years of improvement, project or production engineering; 5+ years preferred.
• Experience in the chemical industry and with process optimization tools is required.
• Familiarity with OSHA 1910.119 PSM standard and SAP is a plus.
• Must be able to obtain a TWIC and have a valid US driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support plant-wide continuous improvement initiatives across safety, quality, productivity, and cost optimization using Lean Six Sigma and other methodologies.
• Develop and maintain tracking tools and dashboards for key performance indicators (OEE, yield, downtime, waste).
• Provide SME expertise in assigned process areas and participate in plant on-call rotation.
• Collaborate to implement best practices and optimize operations across the plant.
