Job summary

100Hires, Inc. is seeking a CAD/Drafting professional to support plant design projects in a chemical environment in the United States. You will operate in field and office settings, translating measurements into accurate layouts and drawings.

The role requires 2-year CAD/Drafting degree or equivalent experience, 8–12 years of design work, and strong AutoCAD skills. You may work with PPE and in confined spaces as needed.

Qualifications

• 2-year CAD/Drafting degree or equivalent experience.
• 8–12 years in design/drafting with proven AutoCAD proficiency.
• Ability to work at a computer for 8 hours per day.
• Comfort with occasional confined-space entry and working at heights.

Responsibilities

• Capture precise measurements in a chemical plant setting.
• Create layouts, P&IDs, process flow diagrams, piping, structural, electrical, fabrication, and installation packages.
• Generate print plots, copy prints, and clean PDFs.
• Review vendor equipment drawings, compile material lists, request quotes, and track materials through delivery.
• Archive prints and lists for easy retrieval by the plant.
• Create flat patterns and part drawings to support maintenance and lend a hand to GTP with graphic art for SEA and plant initiatives.
• Work independently with limited supervision.
