Job summary

Torrey Holistics is seeking an experienced CAD Drafter to translate complex plant concepts into buildable drawings in a chemical environment. You will prepare layouts, P&IDs, and process diagrams, while verifying field measurements and aligning designs with safety standards.

The role demands 8–12 years of drafting experience, strong AutoCAD skills, and meticulous blueprint reading. Occasional safety gear and high worksite awareness are expected in this chemical plant setting.

Qualifications

• 2-year CAD/Drafting degree or equivalent.
• 8–12 years of drafting/design experience.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and strong blueprint reading.

Responsibilities

• Author complete drawing sets: layouts, P&ID’s, process diagrams.
• Produce print plots and PDFs; verify site conditions through field measurements.
• Perform beam calculations and deck design; ensure OSHA/ASME compliance.
• Create material lists, solicit quotes, and track purchases.
• Maintain an orderly archive of prints and material lists for quick retrieval.
