Job summary

Mettle Ops seeks a Plant & Build Operations Manager to own the full path from raw material to fielded product. This role spans plant/warehouse operations, build management across the company and subcontractors, and prototype build engineering for first-article units.

The person ensures on-schedule, on-cost delivery with strict contract and safety compliance, while coordinating with engineering, OEMs, and suppliers to optimize flow and quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Supply Chain, or related field.
• 10+ years in plant, warehouse, manufacturing, or distribution operations.
• Experience owning build activities from design to delivery and BOM tracking.

Responsibilities

• Lead plant and warehouse operations to meet production and distribution goals.
• Track BOMs, manage build plans, and coordinate with OEMs and suppliers.
• Oversee prototype and first-article builds through delivery.
• Drive continuous improvement and Lean initiatives to reduce costs.
